With a Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University, and a Master of Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania, I am incredibly confident in my abilities to listen, reflect, and provide practical skills to help you help yourself to overcome whatever may have led you to this page. I have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. I currently practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an offshoot of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It encompasses skills that allow us to recognize the source of our struggles, be present despite them, and make changes to excel in the facets of life that are most valuable to us.
I’ve provided my services in schools, inpatient psychiatric settings, and now where I feel most in the zone, outpatient private practice and business settings. When it comes to therapy or coaching I don’t make promises, because I cannot control what a client ultimately decides to do with the time in or out of session. What I can promise, however, is that nothing you share will shock or surprise me. No history, fantasy, or reality will be beyond my scope of comprehension, and we will use all the information at our disposal to craft the lives we envision.
